  Just came back from our Caribbean trip where we sampled our favourite treat Pain au Chocolat (among many other things) at real Patisseries on some of the french islands. We fell in love with this treat back home at True Grain Bread and were very excited to find that they make it the same - so authentic right here at home in Summerland. Well done True Grain Team!

  Their coffee is bland and generic, which is surprising because everything else about the place is authentic and down to earth...
  
  Per their name, they do breads and other grain products exceptionally well, perhaps a bakery that grew into a hybrid coffee shop explains why weak on the coffee
  
  The staff is surprisingly not exactly outgoing despite the quaint and cozy feel of the place...
  
  Nevertheless, a good coffee shop, just not great

  A great bakery with European-like goodies. The only issue we've ever had is when they overcooked their wonderful ginger cookies which then became hard instead of the terrific soft they usually are. But do go.

  Nice atmosphere, friendly service, simple selection, and tasty. Very nice place to stop im and grab a coffee and a treat.
